Diffused background using depth of field blurring.
Clear sky background giving colour contrast and clarity of definition.
Deliberate introduction of lens flare by including the light source in the shot.

I really liked your use of depth of field to created the diffused background and I liked the introduction of the light sauce on photo 3. Perhaps next photoshoot we should all try to shoot 3x photos of an image in similar fashion to improve our technical skills :). Well done
